US/Canada Pipeline debate

Post by Ged » Thu Feb 21, 2013 4:21 pm

Pretty big in the news, it would clearly benefit both the US and Canada significantly, but there are of course dangerous environmental issues. The Canadian tar sands produce more carbon than any other oil, being the dirtiest, and requiring the most refining. I think the long term ought to be considered, and the XL pipeline be blocked. I'd love to hear what other people have to say though.

Furthermore, and if your interested, a study at Cornell University in New York, has found TransCanada's projections overly positive.

Lol I go to FSU, and have hated UF since I can remember. I loved that family guy episode.
