I think Warren makes a good point. Banks are just paying settlements, and it's just giving them incentive to continue the fraudulent practices that they are doing. I wish these institutions would get greater attention. They are breaking the law, if someone could pay $100 for a DUI like it used to be in the old days, just a slap on the wrist, then they will keep doing it. These gigantic corporations need to be held accountable, and a settlement/fine, is not enough. They can pay their settlements and fines with their profits, but that's still defrauding investors. I find this subject incredibly infuriating, and action needs to be taken.
